So...life here is pretty much the same
Nothing much has changed
We are dealing with school as usual
The kids have been sick off and on for about 2 weeks
I am working more then I have time for
But I love it!
Jared finally has all his time from work back...no more absences against him
He might be able to pull off a transfer of jobs
He is getting tired of the position he has right now
So, how is everyone right now?
I need some feedback!
So.
Today I slept in.
Till 9!!!
Then I skipped classes, because my head hurt so bad I couldn't barely move...
and went back to bed!
Next week I am going to start working with a personal trainer at the university.
I really need to get back into shape, and I think having someone there to help with the motivation will make it happen alot sooner then if I am just relying on myself.
I am kinda excited about it.
School is going. No plus or minuses yet.
Just neutral feelings toward the whole endeavor.
So, there is the update.
Another post.
And evidence of my lack of life.
Enjoy you miserable person!
Enjoy!
hahaha
So 2007 has come and gone.
We moved, as usual, that year.
This gave us the grand total of 5 moves in 3 1/2 years.
And they say our lives are nothing like those in the military! ha!
Cecilia started kindergarten. That was difficult.
I started college. Why oh why?!?!?!?
Jared finished his first year of college!
He has been at his job at the DC for 3 years now.
Ciara turned terrible two, though that year affected her evilness little to none.
Cadie turned one!!!!!!! I just can't live with that. Who said they could get bigger?!?!
Jared and I made it to 3 years...here's to many more. Again...Why oh why?!?!?! haha
So now we are in 2008.
Cecilia will finish kindergarten in a few months.
Ciara is officially potty trained, though night time diapers are still in order.
Cadince won't stop walking...into everything! lol
Jared and I will be sophomores in August.
I work at my favorite restraunt and couldn't be happier.
We will hit 4 years this year...oh mylanta! hehe
There are sure to be many more challenges this year as in the previous.
God sure knows how to keep us on our toes!
But...
Here's to life
Financial stability
Friendships
Comfort
A home for more then 12 months!
Great kids
Growing old together
Family...
and finding ourselves again this year.
Have a great '08 everyone.
Jess
Just a quick update and FYI moment.
The Fall semester of 2007 is complete and the grades are in.
I did better then I averaged!
Jared did fantastirific!!!
My G.P.A. after my first semester is a 3.7857!!!
Jared's, after 2 semesters, is a 3.2857!!!
We are very excited, and I have to say that I am very proud of Jared. He was slipping there for a moment, but he pulled everything up and ended with an A in stats and a B in Spanish!
My only B was in Anatomy and Physiology Lecture! It was difficult, but not impossible. I think I might have done better if I had taken the class on campus, but now I know.
Also, I finally found a good job that I am very excited about.
I have been looking for a job that I can regulate my own hours for school time and still bring home enough money to count.
I start at Hananoki, the local Japanese restaurant, tomorrow morning!!!!
Yeah!!!!!
Okay. Small update over.
Try commenting on this one this time!!! Or no more for a month!!!!
Go me Go me Go me!!!!!!!Okay, so I am a tad bit excited....I finished my last final tonight! That means that I have completed my first semester of school! This may seem like not a lot to some....but after all I have been through, I couldn't be prouder of where I am!My G.P.A. is 3.6It's not what it should be by far. But, considering this semesters' circumstancesand all the drama that has interfered with our daily livesand the 3 kids factorplus not having been in school for 3 years prior to collegeI think I did a bang up jobOf course, a G.P.A like this will definitely not do fro next semesterI am taking 18 hours (the max)That means I need 6 A'sA 4.0.....or maybe even a 3.8 is acceptable I suppose. But we'll get there! Now, to happier newsI am so going Christmas shopping on Saturday!I finally have a good amount to shop with and I am oober excited!
I am going with Katrina and Laura and Jared is watching all 10 kids.
What a trooper!
8 hours of baby sitting!
I love it! hehehehehehehehehe
Well, guess you should just leave some comments in light of the holiday season.
No one likes a stingy commenter! hehehehe
Santa is watching after all!
Merry Christmas!
It's autumn and I LOVE it. This time of year seems to carry away all the stress and frustration that everyday life always brings, and replace it with an air of peace and serenity...It is absolutely my favorite time of year...and it couldn't be prettier outside!
School is almost over....for this semester, and with the change of my major and the addition of a minor, I have to be prepared for next semester and even more studying...but it will be worth it to be done early and have my degree and be happy in life. Not that we aren't happy now...but it certainly will make things easier!!! Jared is taking intro to German next year instead of Advanced Spanish...he says he wants to be well rounded...I say he doesn't want all the work! lol
I will be taking astronomy...partly because I need to take a different science, and partially because I happen to be interested in the reasonings and positions of the stars...
Thanksgiving si going to be wonderful and mellow. I only have to make the deviled eggs and stuffing...plus I am bringing the eggnog and cider this year...for dessert we are heading over to a friends house who doesn't have much family to spend the season with...so we are bringing her company and fruit crisp! That is the best way to spend the holiday, I think, and I am very excited about it.
Christmas comes all too early every year, and this year I finally feel that I have gotten a pretty good head start...Yes, Andrea...we already have yours and the girls gifts...and no, it's not a new house or a million dollars this year, unfortunately, we had to down size the gifts for once...lol The girls are sure to make out, as Mom and Dad have bought them a new playground set to replace the one that we had at the old house since we had to leave it for the owner to take back...and this one is bigger and better with 3 swings, a tetter totter, a slide, and a dual swing set thingy...very nice and we are putting in it the new backyard that has plenty of room! Who knows what else they will get this year, I am saving their shopping for last, so I can finish up our money on them!
Well, I think that is about it for now...Hope everyone is dong well and enjoys their Thanksgiving...leave lots of comments and show your love ; )
The Us-ems
OK. So, quick upsate while the kids are sleeping~We are in the oh so beautiful and perfect house! lolWe have internet and cable again. Thank the Lord!I have moe homeork then anyone ever!I missed Grey's Anatomy last week so major catching up to do this week.I am actually glad that we are staying for Christmas, I can't wait to decorate!Cecilia loves having her own room, and even lets me come in sometimes to visit! lolI have given 8 bags to goodwill in the past 3 days, and have more clothes oiled up ready to go- I am feeling the giving spirit already!I will say more later. Got to get some more laundry done and sort through more things in boxes. One day we will be done unpacking....just in time to pack again! lolJess
Well, we are here.
We just found out today that we will have a new house to move in to! It is about the most adorable little thing, and in a very good neighborhood about 3 minutes up the road! Cecilia will have to change schools, and that stinks....but, she is still young, so it won't be as hard on her! It's a 3 bedroom, 2 bath with His Hers closets that are big! It has a fenced in back yard, bigger then the one here, and is off the main road a good bit so we don't have to worry about being right next to so much traffic! It's a brick house, and it's that darker brown brick...so pretty! It has a fireplace too, which is always exciting!
The only not so great thing....it has that brown carpet...you know, the kind from like the 70's or something, only a little shorter, not so much shag as just yucky brown....Thank the Lord for rugs!
It has a one car garage, which will be very convenient, especially because, unlike the one here, there is actually room to fit a vehicle and still get in and out!
We can move in as of the 1st of November!!!!! Now I have a whole month to get everything moved in, instead of just 3 days...and I can get everything moved and set up way before finals! It also means I can enjoy my Thanksgiving break because I won't be in the process of packing and trying to move out, i will already be moved in and unpacked!
It also means we can enjoy our Christmas vacation without having to worry about coming home to a house that needs to be unpacked right before school starts again!
That is about all the update we have as of yet. Any questions, run them by....
Hope everyone is good.
Jared- doing well in school, bored out of his mind for most of it and ready for it to be over, but, doing well none the less..... Loving Halo 3 (addict!)Cecilia- on break this week from school and loving every minute! Her best friend Emma is here everyday while they are on break because I am babysitting! She is actually spending the night over there tonight (her first real sleepover!) We just made a card game ( I cut out construction paper and put letters on one side--big and small-- and drew flowers on the other) that should help her with recognizing what capital letters match lowercase letters and learn the sounds each letter makes a little better! Her field trip is next Thursday and we are very excited. I already made the scrapbook pages to put the pictures in and I am making some on behalf of Cecilia's teacher for the class too!Ciara- sick! She has the nose runny-head kinda warmish- coughing only at 2 am every morning- bug and has had it for about 4 days now! No sleep for mommy!Cadie- growing! Her next doctors appointment is next week fro her one month check up and shots! Let's hope doc thinks everything is good too! She has 2 new teeth coming in in the backish of the bottom! That will make 6!and Me!-School is going well. I aced my lecture exam (anatomy) with a 107.5!!!! I got a B (87) on my anatomy lab practical, but that is pretty good seeing as how the class average was a 67%! And that is with a curve!!!!! Jared and I have recently made some life altering plans that we will eventually share with all in detail (haha! made the anticipation thing happen! you gotta wait!) but we are very excited and happy about it! I am kinda stressing about next month because we are only going to have 3 days in which to find a house and get moved out and in! Right before finals!!!! But, we are going to get through it! We are excited about Halloween! Cecilia is going to be a purple genie with a bottle! Cadince is going as Minnie Mouse! I am going to be a purple butterfly fairy with white stockings that I plan to draw glitter flowers and swirls on (I will be the cutest one! lol NOT) and Ciara is going as the cutest pirate ever! Jared bought her costume in AUGUST!!! because he said she would just look so cute in it he had to! Well, she does, so I guess can deal with the "boy type" costume this year! next year though---princesses all of them!!! lolJared has to work so, no costume for him. Since he isn't dressing up, I told him he doesn't get candy either, he has to earn it with a costume!Weather here is finally looking up. The temperatures were in the 60's today and it was SOOOOOOOOO nice! I hope it stays this way!Well, better get back to school work! Everyone must comment, or I am not blogging again for a month! Oh, and no "nice blog" comments either! Put feeling behind it people! I do post these insanely long blogs for your entertainment! Show some appreciation....leave some comments this time.....ummmm (Cough' Sarah.....cough cough)!!! J/K
